There are many ways in which you can improve your Joomla website. If you manage your own Joomla site then these tips will help you get more from your site. If your Joomla site is managed by a web design company then ask then to add these tips to your site for you.

1: Set up an automated back system, there are a few good components/plugins for Joomla that will do this for you daily or weekly. If you are not adding

alot of new images etc and just updating the text then you may just require a daily back up of your database. the plugin we recommend is the JBackup System Plugin which is simple to set and will email you back file of your database every day or when ever you choose to.

2:  Optimize your pages for better SEO, it is simple enough to make sure your content is optimised for the search engines. When you create your article ensure that you place a description and keywords into the metadata parameteres, and that you only use two or three keywords, ensure that these key words are within your content page and at least one of them is either bold or italic.

3: Update your Joomla website and keep the content flowing. Set a a blog section on your joomla site and keep your visitors up to date with any new products, service and industry news.

4: Add a facebook like button to your Joomla site. This way people that like your products or services can simply click the like button which will then provide a link on the Facebook profile back to your page for all their friends to see.

These are just a few ways you can get more out of your website if you are not already doing so. Good luck and keep your content fresh.
