Joomla 1.6 Released TodayToday has seen the launch of long awaited Joomla 1.6 the worlds most popular php based content management system. Here at Web Design Studio we have been looking forward to this new release and have been following the Joomla Teams progress closely since their announcement last year of the new version. We have been trialing and testing this version for some time and are looking forward to offering the Joomla 1.6 Beta version to our clients in a commercial capacity in the not to distant future. While we continue to test the new Joomla 1.6 beta content management system, we will however continue to use Joomal 1.5.17 for all our clients, until the bug testing and future tests in security etc have been completed. Joomla 1.5.17 continues to work very well, and should not be dismissed, it is just as good as ever and still offers a wide range of web site types to be created using its frame work.
